A business case, not a sales summary.

A written case for the one or two processes we agree are worth pursuing — yours to take to your CFO or your board, whether or not you ever work with us.

01 / Shortlist

Your top processes

The one or two processes with the strongest case for automation, and why they beat the others we looked at.

02 / Cost

Cost to automate

What it takes to build: effort, licensing, integration, and the ongoing cost to run and support it.

03 / Return

Full ROI breakdown

Hours returned, rework avoided and capacity released — costed, with every assumption written down so you can argue with it.

04 / Timing

Payback period

When the investment turns positive, and what has to stay true for it to hold.

What’s in the document

  1. The process we shortlisted, and why it beat the others we looked at
  2. Current state — volume, effort, and what it costs you today
  3. The automation approach, and the platform that fits it
  4. Cost to automate — build, licensing, integration and run
  5. Annual return, NPV, payback period and discount-rate sensitivity
  6. Risks, dependencies, and every assumption behind the numbers

Four steps, and one hour of your time.

  1. Register

Three fields: name, work email and organisation. We come back to confirm a time and what is worth having ready.

  2. Sixty minutes together

Online, with Jacko and Bart. We work through the process, the volumes, the systems it touches and the constraints around it.

  3. We build the case

We cost the automation and model the return on your numbers and your systems — not on industry benchmarks.

  4. You get the business case

A written case you can take to your executive, with no obligation to proceed and nothing to sign.

Best fit first — and the ROI has to stack up.

We deliver on, and resell licensing for, UiPath, SS&C Blue Prism, Microsoft Power Platform and Azure AI. Which one you end up on is a best-fit decision made against your processes and your systems — and the case has to stack up on your numbers before we recommend any of them.

The people who scope the business case are the people who would deliver it. That is the check on the numbers: we have to live with them.

Where we go deep

  • Back-office finance processes
  • Business operations
  • Contact centre operations
  • Work order processing
  • Customer-facing processes and service journeys
  • Conversational AI and virtual agents
  • Regulated industries — deep experience in health and aged care

Rule of thumb: the more repetitive and painful the process, the better.

Bring one process. We will tell you what automating it costs, and what it returns.

Before you book.

Is it really free?

Yes. There is no charge for the 60-minute session or for the business case that follows, and no obligation to proceed with anything afterwards. We run a limited number of these each month because they take real work to produce.

How solid can a business case be after only 60 minutes?

Solid enough to decide with. It is built on your numbers rather than benchmarks, every assumption is written down where you can challenge it, and we say plainly where a figure needs firming up before you commit budget. It is a decision-grade case for one or two processes, not a full enterprise assessment.

What if automation is not the answer?

Then that is what the business case says. Process redesign, better knowledge management or plain integration is often the cheaper answer. We do resell platform licensing, which is precisely why the case is costed on your numbers — a return that does not stack up is not one we will put our name to.

What kinds of processes do you work on?

Back-office finance — accounts payable, reconciliations, month-end. Business operations, contact centre operations and work order processing. Customer-facing processes and service journeys. Conversational AI and virtual agents. As a rule, the more repetitive and painful the process, the better it looks in a business case. We also have deep experience in regulated industries, particularly health and aged care, where privacy and governance constraints have to be part of the design rather than a retrofit.

Who should attend, and what should we prepare?

One or two people who understand the process and the systems it runs on. Bring rough volumes if you have them — how often it happens, how long it takes, how many people touch it. No documentation needed, and no AI strategy required first.

Where do you work?

Across Australia and New Zealand, with most of our work in Sydney and Melbourne. The session runs online, so where your team sits does not limit it.
